On the June 3rd episode of his popular TV show, Dr Oz talked about the results of a recent study where mice fed Sea Buckthorn oil were about 1/2 the body weight of other mice that were not fed the oil.
The study showed that two groups of mice were fed exactly the same high fat diet.
One group was given sea buckthorn oil containing Omega-7 fatty acids. Mice in that group maintained their weight during the experiment.
The other mice gained a very large amount of weight.
